Man I got back into playing after a 10 year hiatus due to circumstances outside of my control. I got a guitar for my 30th birthday. I consider myself a decent player again, but I started the school from lesson 1 to get my fundamentals on track and MAN IT HAS HELPED SO MUCH. I have much more fretboard fluidity now.
Amp is fixed and planning on learning a new a7x song since I only play bat country haha

Any good ways to beat the intimidation factor or just feeling discouraged at playing sometimes? 
Don’t take the small wins and improvements for granted
Forget about learning new, more complicated songs for a few minutes and play along with songs you used to play or simpler songs you already know.
Much appreciated Lindsey , just kinda feel overwhelmed or like I’m shooting myself in the foot. I know as I’ve gotten older I know it’s gotten harder to play what I want to and I’m ok with that just would like to be a bit more knowledgeable. And just overall be a better player

I love watching you play no matter how messy you feel the playing is! When I was your age, it really mattered to me how good my playing was and how others saw me as a guitar player. It made me stop playing for a long time so it makes me happy just seeing a young dude like you rocking out. Never stop playing!🫶
