This is another scale that I'm starting to use more and more in my playing, even in Avenged Sevenfold. I really love the Arpeggios that the Melodic Minor scale has to offer which we will get into later.
I would implore you to think of this, not just as a Jazz scale, but a multifunctional scale that can be used for any style of music. Some may require a more sparse employment of the scale, but it is a must know if you want to Develop a Well Rounded Musical Vocabulary.
Spend time applying your exercises to this as well as learning the many brilliant Arpeggios this one has to offer and then go share with the class in the "Discussion Thread" below!
