I was not going to submit to this contest until I realized how much it is parallel to what I've started doing with the beato book I recently purchased it. Since the two are related I have added the video here as a submission. Its longer then planned.. but I do all 7 chords. You don't have to follow them all. It starts off sluggish with the open notes on bflat but it gets better. Next week I plan to make a simple chord progression using the chords. If you want to suggest a progression for me to play over that'll be helpful. I could pick it myself.. but its more challenging if you pick it for me. I'll do the video of finding the scales I need with the chords from the progression. Then ill record it and solo over it and add that too. Thats basically my plans going forward. But for now.. you can watch me play the chords in the family. Big tip.. I am a FULL STEP down. Pg teaches you these same chords in c major standard tuning. (I'm step down g minor/bflat major)

stride means like opposing, maybe if your interested watch a stride piano video just to know what it is

To be honest im not really trying to learn piano techniques right now.. im more just learning chords and scales and getting used to using my left hand in the opposite way I normally use it. Its gonna take a dew months to get used to it. It takes a lot of takes to get something down. The video i posted i barely moved my fingers and i didnt do many off beat notes unless it was safe to. When i switch between chords its a lot harder cause my fingers are almost as big as the keys.

it's almost the same idea like guitar cause you have one hand that strums and one hand making the sounds, like helps to separate and control
like working in stride, keyboard also helps with makiung the fingers indepandent
My latest set of songs are now live on spotify. I wrote these only a few months ago and officially am now caught up on all the material ive written. I'll be sitting down and writing new stuff soon.. im looking for people to collab and write with. If this interests you just let me know.

The blast/polka beats sounding nice :D I only heard the samples from the list here, we can try something sometime but I shouldn't promise anything. Been having some things irl and resting next to practice/learning. Working on my vocals too but my throat hurts sometimes so can't do it everyday

You probably need spotify to actually hear the songs. But you can find them.on most social platforms. If you can't find them let me know.

I've been listening to mostly Dream Theater this past week
did you know pigeons flick their tongues like lizards and make weird sounds when relaxed?

One last comment. I will not be going through these song for song as quite honestly i dont think many people are bothering to really follow or read the posts. Or even leave a comment really. The couple that do can always pm me if they want to know what I did. But I see no point in explaining myself if no one is gonna bother to read it. Or say "hey that was neat I liked that" even tho it seems every other riff in the place gets likes and comments.
Did you guys just add the "view" feature? I feel like that's been. And a great addition.

    Where?

Basically on the bottom or a post or a riff there was the "comment" and "share" and "like" now I see the "view" which takes you to the page of the riff you are viewing. I always had to click on comments to get to that page. So it's a good addition to make it easier to load in the page of of the riff.

    I see it too now
Little behind this weekend due to play off hockey (fucking Toronto..) but I'll have 3 new songs coming tonight. 2 of them made an appearance here a few years ago and I used the origional files in the end (with the mistakes left in cause inlike the way it sounds with them honestly). 2 songs are a 2 part feature. They kind of tell a story. More details tonight.
Can't believe the news about Chris Conley. Although I'll admit his attitude is extreme I can kinda relate in trying to not be alone. This sounds a lot like mansons story. Makes you wonder how many more are gonna come out over the next few years. And which ones are real and which ones are money grabs.

Improv is being uploaded soon to this as I couldn't really be live while doing the lead part. But I got a decent enough take remember the chord changes. I'll upload it when it's finished probably by tomorrow. I hope this answers Pablo's question. Although I didn't use 2nd 5th or 7ths.. im gonna attempt that on my next song.
Gonna live stream later today for a bit on twitch. Will test my new tone through the bluetooth speaker and look up a question I was asked about last night on the beato book. I think I already know the answer but I'll take a peak and do my best to explain. Will link the stream here after. Probably In ahour or two.
Remixed the next set of songs I planned to release. Thanks to @Radu-Cristian Perde for making me realize I could get louder then i was in my recordings. I won't bother remixing the ones i already put out. But depending on the reviews I get from my next 2 sets of songs I may feel content with what I've done. The only downfall is vocals still sound weak. (Even when balanced right volume wise you can tell I'm not going ALL OUT). I plan to make a sound booth in the coming year to help shelter the noise levels so I can do more realistic vocals.

Centzless is live. I'll be highlighting the entire album as every song has.an theory idea behind it. Ill tell you whether I achieved my idea or not and why
