Hello fellow students of the Synyster Gates School,
We have all gathered here to learn the art of face melting from our lord and savior Synyster Gates and his divine Papa which is a beautiful thing! I can’t wait to be a part of this new community full of likeminded guitarists. I thought it might be convenient to gather a collection of external guitar resources which could be lessons, databases, or really anything here in order to introduce each other to new content we may not be familiar with or stuff that is generally useful to our musical journeys. That way this website could hopefully become a one stop hub for all manner of guitar content on top of the fantastic lessons already provided!
Here are a few sources of musical knowledge that I find very helpful w/ brief descriptions, please feel free to leave your own!
Rick Beatos Youtube – College educated musical genius who explores pretty much every musical concept know to man on his youtube for free, he also is personally endorsed by Synyster Gates. Check it out!

Ultimate Guitar tabs – This website can tell you how to play most songs if you know how to read tab; however, I find it most useful for chord charts. They also have an app for your smart phone/tablet/computer that i think is better than the website and its free!(remember to use your ear to learn songs too tho :D)

The Real Book – Critical for aspiring jazz guitar players, a book containing many jazz standards. Truly fascinating I’m linking a video that adequately explains it and a website with the collection of standards! (you could also buy the book if you’re a bad ass motherfucker)

If you guys think this is a good idea let me know and ill keep putting more because there is WAY more.
