I read the interview thanks to this post and i’m so excited! Syn said he’s working on his rasgueado technique and I couldn’t be more excited!! I’m not really into jazz that much But I am starting to like it a lot more. What I’m looking for to the most is that he said hes really working on his flamenco technique which is where my heart is set at for sure!

    I’d like to see that. Steve Stevens, who had a solo career after playing for Billy Idol in the late 70s/early 80s, intensely studied flamenco and put out a really good album, “Flamenco A Go Go.” Worth a good listen to hear how an 80s shredder adapts his thinking to that style.
