Question about lesson 56 (fifht position of the major scale)

The way I understand it it means that you take different arpeggios (like caged) and blend them together. So you combine for example c and E shape in one go. A good example would be the Emadd9 arpeggio in Hail To The King(A and E shape) and the Gmadd9 in paradigm(or technically F# since it’s tuned in drop D a halve step down) where it is a E shape and a c shape.
He uses the arpeggios of lesson 50 and 51 as an example so for example combine am and am7 arpeggios.
