wassup everybody

I'm Bishop, I guess I'd be considered an intermediate guitarist (3 years). Synyster really inspires me to push myself further on guitar and learn new things. I'm trying to teach myself some music theory even though it's a little annoying. originally, I didn't know that there was lessons on this site so I've been checking them out (y)
Welcome! I just started here with some experience too, and this is a great place!

Halo 2 Sustainer intro

I spent almost $3000 doll hairs for a banshee Mach 7 FRS custom. just to do this.

sweep picking muting

Thank you everyone. I have also looked at other videos at I think I have found my problem. I was taking my finger off the fretboard instead of unfretting the note and resting on the string which was making a bad pull off sound.

Will mark this as solution case anyone else has my problem
you could also mute with the right palm instead. neither is wrong and honestly a bit of both is often required. heres an example. Login to view embedded media

Not guitar related, this question is wackerman/studio question that is probably a long shot but still interesting nonetheless.

It seems really difficult, I've seen some of his posts on instantgram and saw a few things I could practice.
There's a virtual drum set on my phone app, it plays a bit different from an acoustic but I can see how it helps to learn and make patterns and such.
I haven't learned any songs on drums yet, often the drums mesh really well with the songs and can be hard to hear exactly whats being played.

Do you think that learning the patterns in the mind first helps before doing it on the real kit?

I've seen some amazing drum playing on such apps and if I hadn't seen it, I'd not thought it possible

Maybe with a special guitar with sensors it's possible but probably needs super tech
very late reply here im just now getting motivation to get back into my account after it was wiped....anyway

YES. absolutely. knowing the patterns ahead of time IS drumming.

CAGED System – The C Shape – Lesson 24

are there any c major jam tracks available anywhere in here? I have one c major jam track from a few years ago when i was taking lessons that my instructor gave to me but wondering where i can find more? I am guessing there are probably some on youtube huh?
I know that some lessons do have jam tracks. It's in the bottom section, click on video and you should have more options showing up. But I'm not sure which lesson would have a C major jam track

Where can i buy the hellwin amp/cabinet

Hi everyone, just joined. I actually have a Hellwin 100 full stack that I may be (finally) ready to sell. I was a huge A7X fan back in my college days, but after seeing how rare these became, I haven't played it much and has sat in my music room for years, so extremely low hours. It's just about in mint condition. I did swap some tubes at one point but still have the originals, if it even matters. Is anyone interested? I have no clue how much to ask as I don't have any others to compare to. I'd prefer to sell it locally rather than ship, located in west Austin, TX.
I'm interested brother 🤘
