Sup SYNNERS!
It's my first time changing strings on my beautiful Syn custom S.
And I wanted to ask if I need to remove this piece while changing the strings (It's called a locking nut?)

    That’s not the locking nut. That’s a “string tree,” and as others have said, leave it alone and slide the strings under it. The locking nut is the part below it where you removed the three Allen screws holding down three blocks that clamp over two strings each.
