Okay guys hello, a lot of people want a good tone for a7x here’s what I find to be the best.
first you need a decent amp, the amp I have is a peavey viper vip 2 it’s a solid amp.
You will need some delay you don’t have to add delay but if your doing solos you will want some.
For the settings gain about mid way This will make you sound more clean when playing
I heard in a interview with the band to keep the mids up. The next thing is bass set that a little more than half way the last two things are treble and reverb remember this is on my amp so for treble do it at about a little more than half then reverb whatever you like I hope this helps you out have fun.
