Strumming patterns?

Recently watched the strumming/tick tock motion video. Have a question, are these the only strumming patterns used in music or are there others? Can we make patterns of our own?
And how can we find the patterrns of songs, trying to learn so far away, is the only way to find a pattern to hear it? :p thanks

There are a lot of different stremming patterns but some of them are used a bit möre. Yes you can make your own stremming Patterns. To figure out a struiming Patterson can be done by listening to the music. If you understand what half notes, 4th notes, 8th notes and 16th notes are you can also do it by reading music
