What scales/modes are you utilizing when you’re trying to get that flamenco/spanish sound? (other than finger picking) phrygian, harmonic minor, melodic minor?etc… If anyone can give some insight into what they use that would be awesome.

Try the Harmonic Minor scale.That will get you started.Also the Hungarian Minor scale.There are a few more but those were the easiest for me to learn.The notes for E Hungarian Minor are:E,F#,G,A#,B,C,D#
