Beginner What Chord Is This?

If a chord literally only has two notes but varying in octaves, what's it called? For example: ADADA?

Well, that's this:

Which is basically a D5/A - So a D5 would be a D power chord (root [d] and fifth [a] only, and maybe the octave), with the /A being an "added" lower root note.
