Ive been pretty busy setting up my guitars for the past 3 days. Within this post, youll see my process for setting up my 7 string Hardtail MKH Epiphone Les Paul Custom.
From beginning to end i remove the strings, use TUNE IT, a saddle and nut lubricant(haha), polish the body, metal polish (FLITZ metal polish)the frets, oil the fretoboard with BORE oil, slap the La Bella 10-64s on, stretch them until they no longer come out of tune, check intonation, check and adjust string height, and clip the ends of the strings.
