Fail safe

So I now you are working on something againat spam etc.(you guys are doing a great job in general btw). I basically just woke up with like 97 emails on forum topics of which where 94 by the same guy of which I couldnt understand anything. So basically I was thinking is it possible to build in some kind of fail safe like if you start like more than 10 forum topics within like an hour or 30 minutes you just get kicked?

Good idea, i would also add an option to report posts. Or captcha, or code that can be sent to mail to prove that you’re not a spam bot or something.

A captcha before posting would be a good idea. Even the simple one where you simply have to check the box to confirm you’re not a bot would prevent something like this.

not sure theres a forum option like that. Maybe get some forum mods out there so they can keep an eye out for the bots.

If coding for a website works moderately the same as matlab you could put an if only if statement in the code like. If and only if one person starts more than x forum topics ban his profile
