Hail to the king intro

I just can’t get the hang of the hammer on and pull offs that syn does at the beginning of the song. Any tips?

Ooohhh!! I struggled with this for three months, gave up, then it clicked when I tried again and it was almost like “I really made that big of a deal out of that?” It IS tricky because muting is so crucial. This is my pride and joy A7X song and I’d be honored to help if I can. Tell me what you’re having issues with on the hammer-ons and pull-offs more specifically and I’ll make a video for you tonight. Typing this out would be too challenging

I think I dont even do hammer ons and pull offs in the intro(dependimg on which part you mean) i pretty economy pick most of it and before the singing chimes in i do hammer ons pull offs or alternate picking(hope this helps)

I’ve seen people use economy for it, I haven’t mastered economy picking yet so I’ll have to work on that. It’s like the very beginning of the song that I can’t get. Jak if you want to make a video go ahead, visuals are always the best!

I only use alternate picking, the intro isnt that fast, but is tricky, when i pull off to the high e sometimes it doesnt sound (mute)
but just play with it and you ll get good!
