    In this tutorial, we will be discussing minor 7th chords and how one can play them on the guitar. So, let's have some fun.

    2. Minor 7th chords explained

    Minor seventh chords are formed by adding a flatted seventh note of the major scale formed on the root note of the chord on top of a minor triad. As a result, the formula based on major scale notes for minor seventh chords is the following one:

    1 ♭3 5 ♭7

    Let's play the Cm7 in 5 different ways, by using the CAGED system. First off, the C form:
