I’ve been playing guitar for a while now but gear has never really much of an interest of mine. I keep seeing this sustainiac mentioned a lot and just wondered what it was and what it does? Is it similar to an ebow?

Its pretty much exactly like an ebow, but way more effective since you dont have to hold onto it. People here talk about it all the time because its in some models of the Synyster Custom guitar. Here’s a video with Pete Thorn kinda demonstrating it, which on that note, if you dont know about Pete Thorn CHECK HIM OUT!. Hes such a monster guitar player. I saw him play after guthrie govan in LA and he joked that he wouldnt be able to hang with guthrie, and that couldnt have been further from the truth.

About the battery though… in my experience it is critical to use a quality battery. None of this dollar store bullshit. Those didn’t last too long for me lol

I had my sustaniac built int to my synyster gates special the one without pinstripe and the battery lasts longer on that then my synsyter gates custom s gold its strange.
